Jenna Welke has done a good job as Head Coach of the Brown City Green Devils Volleyball Team & Program in the last 7 season there as Head Coach. Took over for Nicole Jones in 2013. Nicole started the program up 1st. Jenna has kept it going very nicely indeed. Won 6 straight GTCE Division Crowns, 6 District Titles, 4 Regional Titles, 2 Quarterfinal Wins, 1 Semifinal Win, & Class C State Runner-Up in 2016. She has done a good job with the program during that time being. Does that one in class. Doing it the right way for the team to be a good team each & every year. Building a good foundation year in & year out. Has a good understanding she wants done year round. Doing it the right way. Dedicated person like Jenna is year round. Put in the work in the off-season. Play summer volleyball also too. Girls want to play for Jenna. Showing it on the stat sheet. Winning Championship Titles every year for the Brown City Green Devils Volleyball Team & Program. 2019 is a rebuilding season. She is doing a good job with the rebuilding department so far in Brown City. Losing a lot of them to Graduation off the 2018 squad that won the GTCE Division Title, District & Regional Title. Losing to the Quarterfinals to the State Runner-Up USA Patriots at Burton Bendle HS. She is a doing a good job so far in 2019. Saw them play in the GTCE Division Opener at Brown City HS on Tuesday Night. Beat the Capac Chiefs 3-0. They got a tough opponent coming up on Thursday Night at Brown City HS the Harbor Beach Pirates. I saw in the quad meet last week at Almont HS. Harbor Beach look solid in that one. Took on BWAC Conference Teams Cros-Lex Pioneers, Yale Bulldogs, & host Almont Raiders. There a good Senior laden group in 2019. They will not be a easy task at all for Head Coach Jenna Welke in this contest. Fun ride indeed for her teams she is has had in the past years. Doing a good job with one anyways. Enjoyed covering her events in the last 3 years already now. Awesome Lady to talk to. Awesome Parents also too Duane & Sue Lange…..
