Ryan Day has replaced Urban Meyer for the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team & Program in 2019. Ryan did a very nice job as Interim Head Coach in 2018 for the Scarlet & Gray in the 3 games Urban Meyer had serve his suspension. Went 3-0 as Interim Head Coach. He was ready to be the Head Coach in 2019. They are 8-0 on the campaign. They don’t missed a beat at all on Urban Meyer as there Head Coach for the Scarlet & Gray. The Improvements Have Already Been There Now. Still scoring points on the scoreboard & don’t missed a beat on there QB a year ago that is with the Washington Redskins Dwayne Haskins. Justin Fields has filled in nicely at QB as a True Sophomore. Transfer from Georgia in the off-season. Defense has improved a lot in 2019 then in the past years. Held teams to score less points on the scoreboard then Urban Meyer had before from 2012-18.
Jeff Hafley & Greg Mattison have done a remarkable job as Co-Defensive Coordinator for the Scarlet & Gray. Chase Young has replaced Nick Bosa at DE in the last 2 years. Chase is a type of DE like Joey & Nick Bosa where for the Scarlet & Gray. He is the best player in the nation at DE. No. 1 Defense in College Football in 2019. They don’t give up many big plays like they use to do in 2012-18 for Urban Meyer. They still got good DB’s & LB’s to come along with that department as well too. They fly to the Football so fast. I have seen that one all season long for the Scarlet & Gray. They have scored points on Defense too. Forced a lot of turnovers too. They are the best team in the B1G Conference already now in 2019. Because of there Offense & Defense all so good to watch in 2019. Discipline has been unbelievable as well. Playing Zone Coverage More Too. Urban Meyer was all Man Coverage. Ryan Day made better hires to get Jeff Halfey & Greg Mattison to be Co-Defensive Coordinators in 2019 for the Scarlet & Gray. It has worked out so far so good in Columbus.
Offense hasn’t made any changes at all. Still scoring points on the scoreboard. Justin Fields has replaced Dwayne Haskins at QB. Justin is doing very well at QB on Offense. Top 10 Offensive Team in College Football. Still scoring points on good teams like they did to the Wisconsin Badgers 2 weeks ago at home in a raining day. JK Dobbins has been a good RB since he was a Freshman 2 years ago for the Scarlet & Gray. Having a good Junior season at RB for 1st Year Head Coach Ryan Day. Reached his milestone 2 weeks ago at home against the Wisconsin Badgers. Good receiver out of the backfield. Teague is a good RB also too. Saw him play against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the road early on in the season in a 48-7 route at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. Chris Olave has become a good WR as a True Sophomore in 2019. He left off later on in the season. Michigan game at home was the start of the season. Scored his 1st 2 TD’s of his career in that one at home in a 62-39 victory. Kept on going in the Northwestern Wildcats in the B1G Conference Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Rose Bowl on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA on New Years Day against the Washington Huskies in a 28-23 victory. Now he is one of the best WR’s in the B1G Conference now. KJ Hill still one of the best ones on the team too. Garrett Wilson True Freshman has impressed me too at WR. Big Time Recruit in the 2019 Class in High School in Texas. Nice balance of Run & Pass Play Options they got still.
Urban Meyer left this in good shape for Ryan Day to run this team now for the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team in Columbus, OH. Got to watch out for Alabama, Clemson, & LSU come into play for the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team in 2019. They can get Ohio State in the College Football Playoff Game. Those 3 teams are good. Still got 2 tough opponents to play yet still Penn State at home & Michigan on the road in Ann Arbor. Not easy games to play at all. Still got to take care of business in the next 2 games.
