Tyler Johnson saved the Cros-Lex Pioneers Boys Basketball Team on Tuesday Night against the Richmond Blue Devils at Richmond HS. Made big time shots for Head Coach Lance Campbell in this big game. Finish with 27 points in that one. Made 2 clutch free throws at the end of regulation to send that game to OT. Hunter Soper fouled out during regulation time. Other guys step up for Hunter Soper’s position in that time being in 2 Overtimes. Finish with 15 points. Richmond put in a good game plan this time around in this contest. 1st time around they missed 17 layups in the 55-38 lost at Cros-Lex HS in January. This time around they didn’t missed too layups. Justin Schweiger had a good game & so did Daveyon Henderson as well too. Marcus Thompson is out for the season with a Achilles Tendon he broke in a game. That hurt them too. Derek Snyder played a good game off the bench. Austin Wran has come on nicely for Josh Presnell for the Richmond Blue Devils as a Junior this season. Love to see 3 things they need to execute better make jump shots, free throws, & better help Defense. They didn’t execute those 3 things in that game. That was why, Cros-Lex found a way to get a W on the road on Tuesday Night. BWAC Conference Champions in the 2019-20 season for Head Coach Lance Campbell & these Cros-Lex Pioneers Boys Basketball Team on there accomplishments in this one. What a game I saw out there on Tuesday Night at Richmond HS. 65-63 Double Overtime Win. Cros-Lex is 15-1 on the season & 11-0 in BWAC Conference Play. Richmond is 12-4 & 8-3 in BWAC Conference Play 2nd Place in the BWAC Conference. Josh Presnell has a nice team still for the Richmond Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team.
