AJ Hinch played on the 2003 Detroit Tigers Baseball Team as a Catcher for 1st Year Manager Alan Trammell at Comerica Park. Remembers Al Kaline in his days as well too. Al Kaline worked in the Front Office when AJ Hinch was playing on that team in 2003. Al Kaline was a good Baseball Man all the way around. Al will say that AJ will do a good job as Manager of this Ball Club in the future in Detroit. Al Kaline will be watching AJ Hinch Manage this team at his Great Place in 2021. AJ had great success as Manager for the Houston Astros in 2015-19. World Series Champions in 2017. Went to another one in 2019 & lose to the Washington Nationals in 7 games at Minute Maid Ballpark in Houston. AJ is a good Baseball Guy all the way around. Do good things for the Detroit Tigers in the future. AJ was a big Al Kaline Fan in his days in Detroit.

Taking over for Ron Gardenhire as Manager. Ron did a excellent job as Manager of this Ball Club in the last 3 years for this Rebuilding Detroit Tigers Baseball Team in 2018-20. Al remembers Ron Gardenhire did with the Minnesota Twins in 2002-14 in Minneapolis as a Manager of that Ball Club. AJ will keep this thing going in the upcoming years for the 2021 Detroit Tigers Baseball Team as Manager.
