Won there 6th straight Big 12 Conference Championship Title 2 weeks ago & also got a Goodyear Cotton Bowl Game victory over the Florida Gators at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Very good with the QB’s. Seeing 3 of them doing very well right now in the NFL. Baker Mayfield with the Cleveland Browns, Kyler Murray with the Arizona Cardinals, & Jalen Hurts with the Philadelphia Eagles. Spencer Rattler will follow those 3 guys after his playing days are over to be a good NFL QB in the future years. Starting a good tradition at QBU right now in Norman. Also had good WR’s that came out of the system as well & doing very well in the NFL right now too. Call that one WRU as well too. Mark Andrews doing very well at TE for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL as well too. Good Offensive Line to along with that department. Took over for the all-time winningest Head Coach in School History in Bob Stoops in 2017. Good move by the Oklahoma Athletic Department & Bob Stoops to hire Lincoln Riley at this job. Best victory of his Head Coaching Career in his 1st season as Head Coach of the Boomer Sooners. Getting a excellent road victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes at The Horseshoe in Columbus with Baker Mayfield & company. Tough place to play at Ohio State. Oklahoma got it done no matter what. Also a good recruiter in College Football. Hired a good Defensive Coordinator in the off-season in 2019 in Alex Grinch. Made some good adjustments when the season rolled along nicely in 2020 for the Oklahoma Sooners Football Team. Finish the 2020 season at 9-2 overall record. Went to the College Football Playoff Semifinal Game in the last 3 years. Lose to Georgia in 2OT on New Years Day in Pasadena in 2017. Lose to Alabama on December 29th, 2018 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Lose to LSU on December 28th, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Oklahoma has done good work away from the Big 12 Conference in the past years too with Head Coach Bob Stoops & now Lincoln Riley. Good Offensive Team in College Football.
