Hunter Soper was unbelievable for the Cros-Lex Pioneers in the Division 2 Regional Championship Game on Thursday Night at Cros-Lex HS against the Pontiac Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish. Scored 30 points in the victory for Head Coach Lance Campbell. All-time leading scorer in School History. Best Versatile Player I have ever seen in a long time. Play any position on the Basketball Court. Pleasure to watch him play in the last 3 years & covering him too. His Basketball IQ is unbelievable indeed. Love watching dunk the Basketball. Stroke the 3-pointer as well too. Can do it all. Deserves to win the TSA Player Of The Year Award & my too. Complete package he can do on the Basketball Team & Court. Real leader indeed. Saw that one a year ago when Hunter Soper fouled out in the Richmond Blue Devils in BWAC Conference Play at Richmond HS. Tyler Johnson stepped up for them in the victory on the road in OT. Be on the Back 2 Back BWAC Conference Champions, 3-peat as District Champions, & Back 2 Back Regional Champions. Couldn’t play in the District Championship Game & Regionals a year ago because of the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Crazy turn of events indeed. Hunter is a Class Act Individual on & off the court. Does the right things for everyone else in the community. Well liked by everyone else in the Class of 2021 at Cros-Lex HS & away from his class too. Watch him play on NFHS last night at home. Win this in front of your fans & your coaches in the victory on your final home game on Thursday Night. Take on the Ferndale Eagles in the Division 2 Quarterfinals on Tuesday Night at Eastpointe HS at 7PM. I knew they would beat Goodrich Martians at home on Tuesday Night. They would’ve beaten them a year ago at North Branch HS as well too. Congratulations on your performance & good luck in the Quarterfinal Game on Tuesday Night at Eastpointe HS.
