Tristan Johnson led the charge for the Britton-Deerfield Patriots to a road victory over the Deckerville Eagles on Saturday Afternoon at Deckerville HS. 1st Rd of the Pre-Regional 8-Man Playoff Division 1 Action. Deckerville is a very very tough place to play period in Football. Did a fantastic at QB for Head Coach Erik Johnson in the road victory. Defense was fantastic as well too. Held them to 14 points on the scoreboard. 2 INT’s in the Red Zone in the 2nd Quarter. Long TD Pass to Noah McRoberts just before Halftime. To take a 20-0 Halftime lead over the Deckerville Eagles on the road. Deckerville scored on there 1st Drive of the 2nd Half. Britton-Deerfield responded very nicely indeed. Scored 14 unanswered points of there own. Tristan had 2 TD runs in the 2nd Half. Defense got the job done once again in the 2nd Half. Got a road victory over the Deckerville Eagles on Saturday Afternoon. Travel long ways away to Deckerville. Didn’t bother them at all period. Defense Wins Games & Championships Also Too. Saw that one from Erik Johnson & company. Deckerville has a good Football Tradition there on a year in & year out basis. Lost to the Adrian Lewanee Christian in Week 9 of the Regular Season 41-20. Get a rematch of the Week 9 Regional Championship Game on the road this week. Played Good Defense All Season Long…….. Score Points In Bunches & Bunches On The Scoreboard……… Not A Easy Place To Play In The Whole Thumb Area To Play At Deckerville……. Made It Look Easy Anyways……..
