Matthew Brandel was brilliant in the Division 8 Regional Championship Game on Friday Night against the Breckenridge Huskies at Herp Field in Ubly HS. 2 INT’s & including the Pick 6 in the 4th Quarter. Made a couple of receptions in that contest for Head Coach Eric Sweeney on Offense. Almost made that unbelievable reception in the 2nd Quarter. Move on nicely from that one too. Good & Bad for this Ubly Secondary in 2021. Good in that Division 8 Regional Championship Game in the win in front of your home crowd for the last time of your career. One of 5 Seniors on this roster. Made this one count for everyone else & his family members too. Going to Graduate in May of 2022 at Ubly HS. His brother is helping out the program right now. Jonathon Graduated in the Class of 2016 at Ubly HS. Been the Assistant Coach in the last 2 years. Played on a good team in 2015 with Jeffrey Wright & company. Went 7-3 overall record in 2015 & lose to the Cass City Red Hawks at Herp Field in Ubly HS 34-6 on October 30th, 2015. Came back home after College. Work on the Family Farm & help out the Ubly Football Team & Program now. Does a good job with those players on the roster anyways. Proud of his brother did in the Division 8 Regional Championship Game on Friday Night. Wish Matthew Brandel the best of luck in the Division 8 Semifinals on Saturday at Mt. Morris HS. Take on the Beal City Aggies at 1PM. Michigan State Spartans Football Fan. Saw them beat the Michigan Wolverines 3 weeks ago at Spartans Stadium in East Lansing 37-33……… Football Has Been In The Brandel Family Anyways………….
