Impressed on what Mel Tucker has done as Head Coach for the Green & White. 2-4 in 2020 & much improved squad in 2021 go 11-2 overall record. Over achieved squad in 2021. Comeback victory over the Michigan Wolverines on October 30th, 2021 at Spartans Stadium in East Lansing 37-33. Kept the Paul Bunyan Trophy in East Lansing. Michigan Wolverines Football Team went on to win the 2021 B1G Conference Title instead. Both of them where on the Coaching Staff together in 1999 with Head Coach Nick Saban & go 10-2 overall record. Went together for the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Coaching Staff with Head Coach Jim Tressel in Columbus. Went 14-0 overall record in 2002. Good Defense in 2002. Held QB Ken Dorsey & Miami Hurricanes in check on January 3rd, 2003 in Glendale, AZ. BCS National Championship Game in the Fiesta Bowl. 31-24 2OT win over the Defending National Champions. Mark Dantonio retired as Head Coach on February of 2020 before COVID-19 Pandemic & National Signing Day started. Good run with the Green & White in 2007-19. Good Defensive Head Coach in College Football. No. 1 Defense in the nation in 2013 & go 13-1 overall record. Including a B1G Conference Championship Game win over the Ohio State Buckeyes 34-24 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis & 100th Rose Bowl Win over the Stanford Cardinal 24-20 on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA. Mel Tucker is doing a good job with the players on the squad. Players love Mel Tucker & so does everyone else too…… Have a good relationship with one another in the past & present years at everywhere they went too……. Reunite with one another again on Monday in East Lansing…….
