Jay Norvell had really good success as Wide Receivers Coach for the Oklahoma Sooners Football Team in N0rman. Took a lot of them to the NFL Draft in the past years & they succeeded in the NFL also too. Recruited a lot of them in that time being there. Good mindset of that one in play in 2008-14. Head Coach Bob Stoops forced to fire Co-Offensive Coordinator/WR’s Coach after the 2014 campaign was over. Had good & bad moments for the Boomer Sooners on Offense. Went to other places in the past years. Played for the Iowa Hawkeyes Football Team & was the Safety on Defense in the Secondary Position for Head Coach Hayden Fry at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City in 1981-85…… 1985 B1G Conference Champions. Bob Stoops was on that staff for the 1985 Iowa Hawkeyes Football Team…… Played for the Iowa Hawkeyes in his days also too…… Good Head Coach in the past years for the Oklahoma Sooners Football Team in 1999-2016…….

Jay Norvell took over as Head Coach for the Colorado State Rams this off-season. Took over for the firing of Head Coach Steve Addazio. Jay’s goal is to make good changes in the upcoming years. Fixed some of the Steve Addazio’s problems he made out there. Love to be Ground & Pound style in his 2 years at the helm. Didn’t work very well in Colorado State. Going to work hard on making changes at this place. Had good success as Head Coach for the Nevada Wolfpack in 2017-21. Had a 33-26 overall record as a Head Coach in Nevada. 2-1 in the Bowl Game Appearances. Couldn’t play in other one in 2021. Going to see a really good Michigan Wolverines Football Team in the opener at The Big House in Ann Arbor on September 3rd, 2022 at Noon Eastern Time on ABC. He remembers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh at QB for the 1985 Michigan Wolverines. Got a last second FG at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City when time expired. Get a 12-10 win over the Maize & Blue in 1985. No. 1 vs No. 2 showdown in this contest.  Jay is a good College Football Head Coach……..
