Kurt Kitayama won for the 1st time on the PGA Tour on Sunday at the 2023 Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando. Overcome 2 tee shots he out of bounds over the weekend. Triple Bogey on the 9th Hole in the Final Rd of this event. Never got rattled at all. Kept his composure very well & let the game come to you. Kurt did that one. 3-Putt Par on the Par 5 16th Hole. Birdie Putt on the Par 3 17th Hole. Almost made a long Birdie on the Par 4 18th Hole. Made a Par instead. Get the best of Rory McIlroy & Harris English at the end of the round. Win by one shot. Paul Azinger was right about that one -9 was going to be the winning score. It was the winning score of the 2023 Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando. Win for the 1st time ever on the PGA Tour at Arnold Palmer’s Tournament. Arnold is happy to see him win at his great place he was watching on Sunday. Kurt came really closed 4 times of winning. Lost by one to Rory McIlroy at the 2022 CJ Cup in South Carolina. Other places too. His best friend Xander Schauffele is proud of him winning on the PGA Tour. Went to the same HS as did the Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers in the NFL. Good HS Basketball Player on the team. Played his College Golf for the UNLV Runnin Rebels. Wasn’t there best golfer on the roster. Kurt was a very nice guy overall. Made everyone else around him better. Special Sunday By Kurt Kitayama…… Got snowy conditions in Las Vegas right now…….. Got on the winner’s circle finally in 50 career PGA Tour starts……
