Michael Fernald had a nice outing on the mound for the Cass City Red Hawks Baseball Team. Took the lost in the 1st game. 11 K’s in a 3-0 lost to the Bad Axe Hatchets at home on Monday Night. Split with them. Won Game 2 2-1. 2 best teams in the GTCW Division in 2023. Standout Basketball Player this past season. Guide them to win the share of the GTCW Division to the EPB Lakers & Division 3 District Champions. Lose to the Division 3 State Champions Flint Beecher Buccaneers in the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game on March 13th at USA. Going to Graduate next month at Cass City HS in the Class of 2023. Play for his Dad Aaron in Basketball & Morgan Erla in Baseball. Good 2-sport athlete. Impressive stuff I saw from Michael in both sports in his 3 years on Varsity. Hard working individual guy. Dedicated at those 2 sports. Nice outing from Michael Fernald. Build on that performance next time you are schedule to pitch. Much better team then they where a year ago. Good mixed of youth & veterans on the team in 2023. Good leader in both sports. Playing a tough schedule in the regular season. Going to help them in the postseason. Bad Axe has a good bunch of talent as well too.
