Joey Wentz has been solid in the last 2 outings against the Minnesota Twins. Lose both games to the Twins. 1-0 lost last week at Target Field in Minneapolis. 4-1 lost on Friday Night at Comerica Park in Detroit. Don’t get him no runs support to work with. Hitting has been miserable in the last 2 years. Pitching has been pretty good for Chris Fetter. Joey is 1-8 on the 2023 campaign. Part of the trade they made for Shane Greene to the Atlanta Braves 4 years ago. Made some nice strides as of late. Corrected some of pitches he shouldn’t been throwing. Figure that one out nicely. Arm slots are much better then it was before. Getting that one to the right spot it needs to be at. Manager AJ Hinch has been impressed of Joey has done so far. Few more wins in 2023. 2nd win of the 2023 campaign is coming for Joey Wentz. Love having “Lefties” on the Ball Club. Joey is one of them. 33-42 on the season.
