Maddie Hohne showing me good impressions for the Brown City Green Devils Softball Team. Had a good Freshman season on the mound. Over 200 K’s on the 2023 campaign. Dealing all season long for this Ball Club. Head Coach Scott Parr is blessed to have her on the Varsity. Saw her against the Capac Chiefs in the Division 4 Regional Semifinal Game 3 weeks ago at Kingston HS. Get the win for this unit. Lose to the 4-time Division 4 State Champions USA Patriots in the Regional Championship Game 11-1 in 6 innings. Her Mom went to USA HS. Graduated in 2000. Now a Sophomore at Brown City HS. Came from North Branch. Went to Brown City in her Freshman season. Good Pitching Skills as a Freshman on the Varsity. Going to get better each & every year. Showcase her stuff in 2023. Played in every level she played on in the past years. Good student of the game & also in the classroom. Learn at every level she played in. Made really good adjustments.
Head Coach Scott Parr said to me at a Girls Basketball Game this past winter. Told me that look out for Maddie Hohne on the mound. Scott was right about that one. Maddie is going to be the one to watch out for. His Father Chris is proud of what she has accomplished as a Freshman on Varsity. Wants to get even better in the next 3 years. This young team did very well in 2023. Overachievers in 2023. Won 5 games in 2022. His Dad Chris helps out the program. Knows his stuff very well.
