Jay Green had a really good 2 years for the Kingston Cardinals Girls Basketball Team. Guided the 2024 Class to success. Jay did an excellent with that department. Lose a lot of them to Graduation in the Class of 2024. All-time leading scorer in School History Delaney St. George, Walker Twins Abby & Gracey & few other ones. 2024 Class at Kingston HS did special things thru out their time being in a small community they grew & raise while they born. Live up to the expectations they were supposed to be doing out there anyways. Did that one. Collected a lot of hardware in that 2-year span. Impressive stuff, I liked from the Kingston Cardinals Girls Basketball Team in the last 2 years. Got a lot of good ones coming up in the 7th grade class. Get Molly Walker back from this roster in the next 2 years. Sophomore right now at Kingston HS. Losing to a good team like the Ishpeming Hematites on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. 73-54 Ishpeming over Kingston. Ishpeming was the real deal. No. 1 overall team in the State of Michigan in Division 4 all season long. Proved that one right. Kingston put a good fight in that contest. Too fast, strong, & athletic. Good hand & eye coordination. Shown up in this stage. Good height & speed to go along with that one. Showcase that stuff in that one. UP power came to life in the 2nd Quarter on down. Outscore Kingston 62-32 the rest of the way. Kingston kept that thing rolling along all game long. Gave it all they got. Not enough to get by Ishpeming in the Division 4 State Championship Game on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. Great supporting cast on hand for the Division 4 State Championship Game. Follow Kingston in this contest. Thumb Area came to cheer on them too. Not enough to get by Ishpeming.
