Nathan Flanagan HS Golf career ended in the Division 3 Regionals last week at Verona Hills Golf Course in Bad Axe. Got his opportunity to play on Varsity as a Senior. Won their 4th straight GTCE Division Crown in a row. Graduated 3 weeks ago at Sandusky HS in the Class of 2024. Played JV for 3 years. Got his chance to play in 2024 on Varsity. Graduated a lot of talent in the last 2 classes in a row. Not going to College. Work on the Family Farm instead. Michigan State Spartans Sports Fan in East Lansing.

Head Coach John Guttowsky had his last Golf meet of this career in the Division 3 Regionals at Verona Hills Golf Course in Bad Axe. Went back on his 2nd stint as HC for 4 years. He was there on his 1st stint in 2000-14. 17 years as Head Coach on 2 different stints. Won a lot of GTCE Division Titles in 2002, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2021, 2022, 2023, & 2024. Won the Division 4 Regional Title in 2021 with Christian Long, Kyle Guibord, Brandon Trepkowski, Carson Shampo, Landen DeLong. While Nathan was a Freshman at Sandusky HS in 2020-21 season. Officially retired from Coaching Golf for good……

Nathan’s Dad Neil Flanagan played on 2 TCC Championship Titles for Head Coach John Guttowsky for the Sandusky Redskins Boys Basketball Team. Went 20-0 in the 1991-92 campaign. Don’t mention that one to me & everyone else on that upset lost to the Mayville Wildcats in the Class C District Semifinal Game at Mayville HS. Won it back up again in the 1992-93 campaign go 18-2 in the regular season. 1993 Sandusky HS Graduated. Last one to graduate in the Old HS in Sandusky…… Farms for his Dad now in Sandusky…….
