Westley Chapin took 2nd place at the 2025 Big Thumb Conference Wrestling meet in Brown City 2 weeks ago. He could’ve won that match against Logan Riley from the Millington Cardinals. Made a mistake on his part. Responded much better in the Division 4 Districts on Saturday at New Lothrop HS. Won his weight class at 175 lbs. Now, going to the Regionals on Saturday. Had him going to the State Finals in the 175 pound in the beginning of the season. 2nd best Wrestler on the roster right now. Head Coach Tracy Bennett does a good job with those Wrestlers he has now in store. Tracy knows his stuff very well. Westley is learning a lot from him in the last few years in Marlette. Good in Football & also in Baseball. Fast & Strong. He’ll be graduating in 3 more months at Marlette HS in the Class of 2025…….
