Detroit Tigers got swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers to start the 2025 campaign. In a 3-game series at Dodgers Stadium in L.A. They outplayed the Dodgers in that 3-game series. Loss the game a few pitches they didn’t missed on any of them. Found a good way to beat the Tigers no matter what. Learned from that one very well. Never lost faith of them at all.
Good core of talent on display. AJ Hinch has done a good job with that roster in his 5 years at the helm. Good Baseball Mind. Seeing that one on display. Went 4-2 on the road stand against the Toronto Blue Jays & St. Louis Cardinals. Take 2 of 3 in both road series. It will take that momentum to the Cleveland Guardians 4-game Memorial Day Weekend series at Comerica Park in Detroit. Great plane ride to Detroit tonight. Winning their 12th series of the 2025 campaign on Wednesday at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Never easy to win on the road in any sport or level you play out there anyways.
They are a very good home team. Riding high going into that Cleveland Guardians series this weekend in Downtown Detroit. Old English D Uniform is coming back once again. Lots of fans in attendance will be seeing them take on the Guardians over the weekend. American League Central Division is strong. No slouches on that side at all. Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Guardians, & Minnesota Twins. Chicago White Sox are working on building their team in the future years ahead.
Detroit Tigers have the No. 1 Farm System in the MLB. Been unbelievable in the MLB Draft Picks 2018-present. Player development has been unbelievable thru out the time being. Look at them now. Playing amazing for Manager AJ Hinch. They are 33-17 on the 2025 campaign. Lots of good young players on this Ball Club now in Detroit. They are built different than other ones too. Been amazing in the last 3 months of the 2024 campaign. The one to talk about for a long time coming. Did good damage in the playoffs. Carry that momentum to the 2025 campaign. They are the best team in the MLB right now. Trust AJ Hinch as Manager for this organization. I did like the 2 Manager hires they made out there. Ron Gardenhire on October 19th, 2017. He was the one that started building the Farm System up 1st. AJ Hinch on October 30th, 2020. Kept the Farm System rolling for more to come yet still. Credit former GM Al Avila on 2 Manager hires he made while he was in the Front Office 2015-22. That has paid dividends at the end of the day. Winning Culture already now in progress.
Won 86 regular season games in 2024. Punch their ticket to the American League Playoffs on September 27th, 2024. Beat the Chicago White Sox 4-1 at Comerica Park in Detroit. Celebration went on that night. Took that momentum to the American League Wild Card Playoff Series against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Sweep the Astros on their home field. Go 5 games in the ALDS against the Cleveland Guardians. Had them on their ropes 2 straight games in a row. Lose both games. Fun ride indeed. During that amazing 3-month span for the 2024 Detroit Tigers Baseball Team to talk about for a long time coming.
AJ Hinch got his 900th career MLB Manager win 2 weeks ago at Coors Field in Denver. 8-6 comeback win over the Colorado Rockies at the Mile High City. Arizona Diamondbacks, Houston Astros, & Detroit Tigers Baseball Team. AJ knows his Baseball & analytics very well. The players love playing for AJ period. Seeing them having fun now in Detroit. Ron started the foundation out 1st & AJ kept in hand for more to come yet. They are 33-17 in the 1st 50 games of the 2025 MLB season…… Lots of good young players on the team now…….
