Cass City Red Hawks ⚾ Team had a good 2025 campaign. Head Coach Morgan Erla had a good core of talent on display going into this year’s unit.
Big Thumb Conference White Division Champions in the regular season. Found ways to get it done. Tough division they were in 2025. Good teams on that side.
Tough Division 3 Districts at Albrecht Field in Sandusky. Found a way to get out of that District. Comeback win over the Sandusky Wolves on Friday. 6-5 comeback win. Down 4-0 going into the 6th inning. Show their resilience scoring 5 runs in the 6th. Sandusky tied the game at 5 all. 7th inning was Cass City’s time. Score another. Gavin Franzel got the victory for Morgan Erla.
2 Championship 🏆 Titles they collect in 2025 for the Cass City Red Hawks ⚾ Team & Program. Good 2025 campaign for Head Coach Morgan Erla & company.
Losses some good talent that graduated already now at Cass City HS in 2025. Carson Anthes & Matt Mellendorf. Both of them are going to play College ⚾ next year. Morgan will miss having both of them there anyways. Good part of there success in all 4 years.
Hopefully Gavin Franzel comes back in 2026. Gavin is a nice kid. Good 3-sport athlete. Love watching him play all 3 sports. ⚾ is a hard game to play. RBI single on Wednesday against the Millington Cardinals in the 1st inning in a 11-6 loss in Sandusky. Standout LB on Defense in 🏈. He’ll be a Senior this coming fall at Cass City HS. Solid In Clutch Moments Against Sandusky On Friday.
Ryker Wallace stud athlete in all 3 sports. Comes back at the Catcher position. He’ll be a senior as well too. Hayden Anthes coming back for another year. Had a good game on Wednesday against Millington. Couple nice shots. Jackson Anthony is back as well too. He’ll be a senior as well too. Liked him at 3rd Base in the postseason. Showcase his talents with glove. Making plays on Defense. Show off his athletic ability.
