Shaun Greyerbiehl played for the 1993 & 1994 Bad Axe Hatchets Baseball Team for Head Coach Wayne Turmell. No. 1 Pitcher on the 1994 squad. Blue Bay Conference Champions in 1994 & Class C District Champions. Got upset by the Memphis Yellowjackets in the Class C Regional Semifinal Game in Marlette 6-5. Split the DH against the Mayville Wildcats, Reese Rockets, & Sandusky Redskins all 3 of them where in the Top 10 in the State in Class C in 1994. Bad Axe had a good bunch also too. Brian Curtis was one of them. Shaun’s Dad was on hand in that contest at the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game at Turmell Field in Bad Axe HS. See them lose to the Algonac Muskrats 5-2. Wayne is a Class Act Individual Guy. Support the Bad Axe Hatchets Baseball Team & Program anyways. See the team compete each & every time down. I am a Wayne Turmell Fan already now. Loves seeing those guys compete once again now in Bad Axe. See Shaun Greyerbiehl on hand on Wednesday Night in Bad Axe. Went to the game with his Dad. Respect everyone else in that community. Wayne Turmell is there for everyone else. Has been retired for a while now. Good to see the former players on hand for the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game at Turmell Field in Bad Axe on Wednesday Night……. Put up a good fight against the Algonac Muskrats in the lost 5-2…….
