Head Coach Garrett Grundman is going to have a much better unit then he did in the last 2 years. Went to the Division 5 Playoffs a year ago. Lose to the Marine City Mariners at East China Stadium in East China Township. Went .500. 5-5 on the 2022 campaign. Go from a 1-8 squad to a 5-5 squad. Taking nice strides from 2021 to 2022. Take more strides in 2023. Got a good core of talent on display now. Garrett is building that one up now in Yale. Good hire they made out there in the off-season. 2007 Cros-Lex HS Graduated. Head Coach for the Cros-Lex Pioneers in 2015-19. Making his opportunties count now in Yale. Players like Garrett. Took over for Scott Brown at that position. Seeing more improvements in the program now. Right man for that position. Played for Jason VanDerMaas in 2004-06 for the Cros-Lex Pioneers Football Team. Got a good one available now in Mike Holes. Good Coach as well too. BWAC is loaded once again. Strong Football Conference from top 2 bottom. Gotta be ready to play on time……. Go at it 110% at practices & carry that one over to the game…… Be on full strength…….
