Caroline Reinke was the spark plug for the Sandusky Wolves Girls Basketball Team in a 36-23 win over the Harbor Beach Pirates at Al DeMott Court & Mark S. Hund Gymnasium in Sandusky HS. Step right on up in this big game at home. Score 16 points in the win. Get revenge from that lost they suffered on January 2nd at Harbor Beach HS. Lose 30-26 on the road in a tough hostile environment. Had the lead on them in the 1st half. Slipped away in the 2nd half. Learn that lost the 1st time around. Get them the 2nd time around instead. She is a Freshman at Sandusky HS right now. Playing like a veteran instead of a rookie on Varsity. Trust Al DeMott on a job well done with these ladies in the program. 12-1 on the season. Losing 8 players off the roster to graduation in the last 2 years. Still win with a good young team. Al DeMott knows how to put a good team in order on a year in & year out basis. Right guy for that position. Having the privilege to play for the Legendary Head Coach. She has played a lot of Basketball. Al was going to bring Caroline up to Varsity this season. Told me that one a year ago. He was right about that one. Making a good statement for everyone else in the program. Impressive stuff indeed. Hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer. His Dad got excited about that one. Got a spark they needed the most. Carry that momentum to the 2nd half. They did that one. Got that must win scenario at home on Thursday Night. Maggy Keinath was a spark for the Sandusky Wolves Girls Basketball Team on Thursday Night. Despite getting in foul trouble in that contest against the Harbor Beach Pirates. Didn’t rattle her at all. Let the game come to you. It happened in the 2nd half. Making clutch shots in clutch time situations for this roster. She is a Sophomore at Sandusky HS this season. Made plays when Al was asking her to do. She answered the call. Help out Grace Guibord in that contest. Get that must win scenario at home. Good team to player on the roster. Played a lot as a Freshman on JV a year ago. Translate that one to Varsity this season as a Sophomore. She is getting the privilege to play for the Legendary Head Coach right now in progress. Making things happen for herself & everyone else on the Varsity level. Making a good statement for everyone else in attendance. 12-1 on the campaign. Making a nice jump from JV to Varsity. Her development has come along nicely. Trust Al DeMott on a job well done in the program. Made a clutch Defensive late of the Marlette Red Raiders matchup 3 weeks ago at Red Raider Pavilion in Marlette HS. Get a 39-36 win on the road. Grace Guibord is a good team player for the Sandusky Wolves Girls Basketball Team. Had a good Sophomore season a year ago. They were keying her in that contest. Harbor Beach did a good job of that one. Caroline Reinke & Maggy Keinath had to step up in this big game. Got the must win scenario in that one on Thursday Night at home. She didn’t get in foul trouble at all in that contest. Positive sign to talk on this one. Grace encourage her teammates to step up for her. Found that one from Maggy & Caroline.
