Michigan Wolverines 🏈 Team on Defense has been unbelievable in the last 3 years in Ann Arbor. Won 40 games in a 3-year span. All started with DC Mike MacDonald in 2021. He improved that unit all the way around. Play the Baltimore Ravens style of Defense. Players like that style. Jesse Minter did a phenomenal job with that department in the last 2 years. Go 28-1. Get the 110th 🌹 Bowl win over the Alabama Crimson Tide on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA. Made a big Defensive Stand on 4th & goal in OT. Stuff the QB draw on the final play of the game. Finish it off in the College 🏈 Playoff National Championship Game on January 8th, 2024. Held the Washington Huskies to 13 points in the victory at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. Good Offense they went up against the CFP National Championship Game. Jesse Minter went with Head Coach Jim Harbaugh to the Los Angeles Chargers as DC in the NFL. Head Coach Sherrone Moore hired Don (Wink) Martindale as DC for the 2024 Michigan Wolverines 🏈 Team in Ann Arbor. Mentored Mike MacDonald & Jesse Minter while they were with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017-20. Wink won’t be a DC for a long time in Ann Arbor. He’ll be for a couple of years at least. He don’t last long at different places. Good core of talent on display now for the Maize & Blue to shine once again in 2024. The team likes the 3-4 Defense. Paid dividends for the Maize & Blue. Beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 3 years in a row. Held them to under 30 points in the 3 wins on the schedule. Losing a lot of them to the 2024 NFL Draft in April. Got lots of good young talent on hand now. That trend will be rolling along for more to come yet still. Go 40-3 in the last 3 years. Team has played a lot faster than they were in the past years. Wins on the schedule. B1G Conference 🏈 Champions 3 years in a row. Defense Wins Games & Championships In All Of Sports Period. Takes you a long ways away in the postseason. Saw that one on display this past year. Go 15-0 on the 2023-24 campaign. Run The 🏈 takes you a long ways away as well too. Score TD’s in that recipe.
