Troy Schelke got his 200th career win as Head Coach for the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team on September 13th, 2024 at Jack Dillon Fieldhouse in Harbor Beach. Beat the Defending Division 8 State Champions Ubly Bearcats 45-6 in a big Huron County Football Game. Do it in front of your home crowd on hand for that matchup. In the Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. DC for Jack Dillon 1991-96. Played for Jack Dillon in HS. 1985 Harbor Beach HS Graduated. Took over for the Legendary Head Coach in 1997. Got better as Head Coach in 2001. Bought in Ron Wruble as DC during that time being. Ron does an excellent job as DC during that time being. Good trophy collection at HB HS right now right by the HS Hallway Gymnasium. Won the 2012 Division 8 State Championship Title. Got a good chance of winning one in 2024. Good core of Juniors & Seniors on this roster now in 2024. Mostly a Junior laden squad. Good Seniors in that mixed as well too. Harbor Beach Is A Football Town……… Troy has been there since 1989. Building a good Legacy already now in progress. Follow Jack Dillon’s suit. Both of them have 58 years as Head Coach for the Harbor Beach Pirates Football Team respectively together in 1965-present. Very good HS Football Team in 2024.
