Matthew kept the Phillies on the base in the 5th inning in a 2-1 Phillies lead. 2nd & 3rd 1 out & bases loaded Matt got Pop in Foul Territory got a big out & Niko Goodrum made a good play as well over the shoulder catch for Starting Pitcher Matthew Boyd. Nicholas Castellanos hit a big double to left field to score a big run to tied the game at 2 runs apiece. Matthew has developed to be a good strikeout pitcher in the MLB & also for the 2019 Detroit Tigers Baseball Team as well. Good left-handed pitcher in the MLB. Got work ethics on & off the field. Hard work & dedication has paid off in the off-season. Part of the Trading Deadline 4 years ago from the Toronto Blue Jays for David Price from the Detroit Tigers in 2015. Smart trade….
