Max Homa won the 2021 Genesis Invitational at Rivera Country Club in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday. Beat Tony Finau in the 2nd Playoff Hole to get his 2nd career PGA Tour Title in this event. Made his Homecoming a special one indeed. Missed a 3 foot birdie on the Par 4 18th Hole on the 72nd Hole as well too. Could’ve won the outright title. Still got the victory no matter what. Found ways to get out of trouble on the 1st Playoff Hole on the Par 4 10th playing 314 yards. Reach the green in regulation. Missed his birdie putt. Tony Finau missed his birdie putt on the 1st Playoff Hole that could’ve got him the victory too. Didn’t happen. Idolizing Tiger Woods while he was a young child. Got his wish for that one. Saw the Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA Title & Los Angeles Dodgers winning the World Series Title in 2020. Tommy Lasorda talked to him on his 1st career PGA Tour Title in 2019. He passed away on New Year’s Day Weekend at the age of 92 years old. Won this event for Tommy Lasorda on Sunday in Los Angeles. Favorite Golf Course to play on the PGA Tour at Rivera Country Club. Couldn’t have no fans at this event. Great Homecoming Week For Max Homa. Be the 7th different winner on the 2021 PGA Tour season on Sunday. Congratulations on that performance in the Final Round.
