Got Drafted in the 2nd Rd of the 2001 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. Good College Football Career for the Purdue Boilermakers at QB. Led the Boilermakers to a comeback victory at home against the Michigan Wolverines in 2000 & also threw the GW TD Pass at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the same season too. Joe Tiller, Marty Schottenheimer, & Sean Payton mentored Drew Brees very well in his playing days at QB in College & Pro. True leader. Good student of the game & good listener & won with dignity & class. Mindset of good ideas as a QB. Made everyone around better in his brilliant career at QB in College Football & NFL.
