Amber Pleiness is the leader of the 2019 Harbor Beach Pirates Volleyball Team in the last 2 years for Head Coach Stephanie Weiss. Amber has good leadership skills for this squad to win there 1st League Title since 1979. We saw that display in this big game at home against the 6-time Defending GTCE Division Champions Brown City Green Devils at home. They are unbeaten in GTCE Division Play so far. They got 7 good seniors on this 2019 Harbor Beach Pirates Volleyball Team. All 7 came back to get a League Title Banner on the gym wall in 2019. They still got business to take care of still. They gotta keep there composure, be discipline at all times, & trust one another to get the job done for the team to be successful in the next 3 weeks of the 2019 regular season. Play as a team. Trust one another, encourage one another, & not criticize one another. We have seen that one already now so far. Experts had Harbor Beach to win the GTCE Division Title in 2019. They are right about that one indeed. They want to win a league title really bad in 2019. We are closed to seeing that happen for sure. 4 newcomers showing good signs as well too. Leandra Wolschleger was the bright spot of this team in this game at home on Tuesday Night. It a good team effort overall in this matchup. I thought about this one. Stephanie said they have to play there roles & did that one. It’s just like John Beilein had with the Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team play your roles & Tom Izzo with the Michigan State Spartans Basketball Team with the same thing play your role. Volleyball is a team sport period. Saw that one on display for the Harbor Beach Pirates Volleyball Team. Jenna Welke is a good Volleyball Coach for the Brown City Green Devils. Doing a good job with the Rebuilding Department in 2019. They have a young team in 2019. There building for the future once again for the Brown City Green Devils Volleyball Team & Program. They are learning how to play Varsity Volleyball still. Grace Schlaud is there best player on the team in 2019. Played on Varsity as a Sophomore a year ago. Has one more year left to play High School Volleyball in 2020 for the Brown City Green Devils. Lost 6 good ones off the team to graduation on the 2018 squad went to the Division 3 Quarterfinals & lose to the USA Patriots in 5 sets at Burton Bendle HS.
