Michael Pineda was solid on Labor Day for the Minnesota Twins against the Detroit Tigers at Target Field in Minneapolis in a 6-2 victory. Went 7 innings. Allowed 2 runs that where earned runs. Got enough runs support in that game too. Got the win for 2nd Year Manager Rocco Baldelli. Got a good 4-seam fastball that goes 93-94 MPH. Got good deception on those pitches. Good movements as well too. Get strikeouts, fly outs, pop outs, & ground ball outs he needs really bad. Bullpen did the job for the Twins in the last 2 innings of the game. Michael played for the New York Yankees in the past years. Now he is pitching at a good ball park now in Minnesota. Yankees Stadium is a hitters ball park. Target Field is a good pitchers ball park. Michael is on a good MLB Team now in Minnesota. Twins are 26-17 on the 2020 MLB Season. Playing 60 games in 2020. Took 4 of 5 in the series on Labor Day Weekend against the Detroit Tigers. Including the sweep on Friday to start the series the right way. Jemier Candelario has been hitting a hot bat for the Detroit Tigers in the last few weeks. Michael did a good job on Miguel Cabrera on Labor Day ended his hitting streak at 13 straight. Detroit Tigers are rebuilding & there doing very well in that rebuilding department for the 3rd straight season in a row. Ron Gardenhire has done a good job with this team since he took over in 2018. Heading in the right direction right now in Detroit. Good Manager in Minnesota in 2002-14. Future is bright for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team in the upcoming years. Minnesota is a good MLB Team once again in 2020. Rocco has done a good job with the talent he is got now already. Detroit is 18-21 on the 2020 season & got 21 games left to play still & Minnesota is 26-17 on the season & got 17 games left to play yet. Good ride for both ball clubs in 2020.
