16 More Days For Michigan Wolverines Football Team Takes On The Minnesota Golden Gophers At TCF Bank Stadium In Minneapolis.

Adrian Arrington caught his 1st career TD reception on the road against the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2006 at the Metro Dome in Minneapolis in a 28-14 route & bring back home the Little Brown Jug in Ann Arbor once again. Suffered a season ending ankle injury at home in the 2005 College Football Opener against the Northern Illinois Huskies in Ann Arbor in a 31-17 victory. Really came on late in the 2006 season & carry that over to 2007 for the Maize & Blue at WR for Head Coach Lloyd Carr.

Jay Riemersma was the QB/TE for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team for Head Coach Gary Moeller & Lloyd Carr in 1991-95. Backup QB to Elvis Grbac & Todd Collins in 1992 & 93 season. Threw a TD pass to Amani Toomer in the Houston Cougars Game at home in a 61-7 route in 1992. Translated very well from QB to TE for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team on Offense. Come from behind victory in Lloyd Carr’s debut as Head Coach 25 years ago against the Virginia Cavaliers in a 18-17 Michigan Win in 1995. Scott Driesbach threw to Mercury Hayes for the GW TD Pass when time expired for the Maize & Blue.

John Navarre led the comeback trail against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on October 10th, 2003 at the Metro Dome in Minneapolis. Made big time plays in that comeback time for the Michigan Wolverines Football Team on the road. Kept believing in themselves they can do it. They did that one nicely indeed. Went on this amazing run at the end of 2003 campaign. Best WR core in the nation in 2003. 1st QB to for throw over 3000 passing yards that season in 2003. Won the outright B1G Conference Title in 2003.

Denard Robinson was fun to watch out at QB for the Maize & Blue in his 4 years playing QB/WR for Head Coach Rich Rodriguez & Brady Hoke in Ann Arbor. All-Time Leading All-Purpose Yards Leader in School & Program History. Amazing speed he had out there anyways. Hard guy to defend one & one in the open field. Can Throw & Run out there.

In 16 more days Adrian Arrington, Jay Riemersma, John Navarre, & Denard Robinson will watch the Michigan Wolverines Football Team take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Minnesota has a good squad also too in 2020. Big game indeed for the Maize & Blue on the road in the opener.

GO BLUE EVERYBODY…………
