Greg Norman’s collapse in the Final Rd of the 1996 Masters Tournament at Augusta National. On April 14th, 1996. Had a 6 shot lead going into the Final Rd. Bad day overall from Greg Norman will never talk about at all. Shot a +6 78 in the Final Rd. So many mental mistakes on that day. Didn’t come to play that day. Didn’t finish the tournament like he wanted to. Give Nick Faldo credit on that one. Very good competitor. Shot a -5 67 & win his 3rd Green Jacket at that event in 1996. Played with a lot confidence on that day. Kept believing in himself. Good friends with Greg Norman. Greg is from Australia & Nick is from England. Greg Norman’s Nickname is the “Shark”. Also a Golf Course Architect out there too. Made Golf Clothes as well too. Did the Golf Analyst on FOX at the 115th US Open at Chambers Bay nearby Seattle, WA. Jordan Spieth won his 2nd major of the 2015 PGA Tour season on Father’s Day. Retired from the Game of Golf. Still one of my favorite golfers on the PGA Tour these days of ages. Very nice guy. Hard working individual. Dedicated at his job. Never will not talk about that round at all on April 14th, 1996 Masters Tournament in Augusta National 25 years ago. Good competitor no matter what people say about Greg Norman. Won a couple of majors on the PGA Tour.
