Experts didn’t have the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers beating the Illinois Fighting Illini in the 2nd Rd of the 2021 NCAA Tournament on Sunday. Proved them wrong on that one indeed. Experts had the Illinois Fighting Illini winning it all in 2021. Not going to happen. Loyola-Chicago Ramblers had other ideas instead. Didn’t listen the Experts & Analyst on those stuff. Came here ready to go in this contest. Illinois had a good Offense in College Basketball held them to 58 points on the scoreboard. They played with a lot of heart & desire to get it done in this contest on Sunday. Playing Smart & Discipline Team Basketball. Players & Coaches worked very well as a unit. Come up with very good ideas against a good Illinois Team. They beat the Illinois Fighting Illini in the Elite 8 in 1963 when Sister Jean was there during that time being. No superstars on this Loyola-Chicago Ramblers Basketball Team. Good Team Basketball. Do the stuff you need to do to win games. Defense Wins Games & Championships Period…… Defense takes you along ways away in the postseason in any sport you coach & or play in. Loyola-Chicago Ramblers has a good Defense in College Basketball. It was showing in that one on Sunday in the 2nd Rd of the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Illinois has superstars & Loyola-Chicago doesn’t. Superstars don’t win games period. Playing Team Basketball Wins Games. Execute the plays & do the right things for everyone else. Play with passion & heart. Have a good mindset & attitude on Porter Moser’s team.
