Shea VanScoter was unbelievable for the Richmond Blue Devils Softball Team in the Regionals on Saturday at Millington HS. Hit 2 Home Runs in the Regionals. 3-Run Homer against the Capac Chiefs & Solo Homer in the Regional Championship Game against the Millington Cardinals. Good day at the bats. Solid on the mound in the Championship Game. Clutch in the Bottom of the 8th inning with the Bases Loaded made big pitches for the team needed the most. Graduated already now at Richmond HS. Played 3 years on Varsity Softball for Head Coach Howard Stuart. Couldn’t play a year ago with the COVID-19 Pandemic started on March 9th, 2020. Disappointed not to play a year ago. Finally got to play for her Senior Year at Richmond HS. Won 2 Regional Titles in her career on Varsity as a Freshman & Senior on Varsity. Remember her hit a walk-off homer with 2 outs in the Bottom of the 7th inning against the North Branch Broncos at home in 2019. Won 2 District Titles & 3 BWAC Conference Titles. Also remembering her hit 1st Home Run as a Freshman at home against the Armada Tigers in the victory in her career. Softball has been her favorite sport to play while she was a child growing up. Going to play College Softball next season. Dedicated at this sport. Howard Stuart is proud of Shea what she did in her career overall for the Richmond Blue Devils Softball Team & Program. Good competitor & wants to be there at the biggest stage as well too. Seeing all of that one for this team. Wants to win for them too. Good all-around Softball Player & smart at playing this sport. Good mindset of playing this one. Making good decision as a Hitter & Pitcher. Focus on those things. Being Smart & Decisive & goes to the point she needs to be at all times. Winner on the Softball Diamond. Seeing those things already now & in the past years for the Richmond Blue Devils Softball Team. Leaving her Legacy for this team & program now at Richmond HS in the Class of 2021. So proud of her in the 2021 Division 3 Regionals on Saturday at Millington HS.
