Detroit Tigers sweep the series over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday at Comerica Park in Detroit. Outscored the Twins 13-4 in the 3 game series this weekend. Couldn’t play on Friday because of Rain they where dealing with in Detroit. Played a Doubleheader on Saturday. Got a 1-0 win in Game 1 of the Doubleheader. Robbie Grossman hit a homer to CF in the 1st inning & proved to be enough for the Tigers to get a win. Jose Urena went 3 innings & got hurt after 3 innings of work. Daniel Norris went in & got the job done for the Tigers for 2 innings. Kyle Funkhouser has come on nicely lately on the mound for this roster for 1st Year Manager AJ Hinch. Gregory Soto got the Save. Pitch very well in the 2021 All-Star Game on Tuesday Night for the American League Team at Coors Field in Denver. Represent the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team & Organization very well too in that contest for Manager Kevin Cash from the Tampa Bay Rays…… Game 2 was the best Rule 5 Draft Pick the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team ever made in history in Akil Baddoo on Saturday Night in Game 2 bases loaded Triple in that one too. With 2 outs Miguel Cabrera hit a walk off base hit to score Jonathan Schoop with 2 outs in the Bottom of the 8th inning to send the fans home & everyone else happy in a 5-4 victory. Sunday the finally of this contest. Wily Peralta has come on nicely indeed on the mound for this Rebuilding Team in 2021. Went 7 innings & got a shutout too. 7-0 Tigers Win over the Twins. They got swept last weekend at Target Field in Minneapolis in the 4-game series to finish the 1st Half of the MLB Season. They are now 43-51 on the 2021 MLB campaign. 3rd Place in the American League Central Division also too. Rebuilding Process has been ahead of schedule all 2021 season long in Detroit. AJ Hinch is the right man for this Manager Job for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team & Organization they got him on October 30th, 2020 at Comerica Park in Detroit. Very good Players Coach. I love being a Players Coach as well too.
