Shelby Ignash led the way for the Cass City Red Hawks Girls Basketball Team to a Division 3 District Title on Friday Night against the Harbor Beach Pirates at Caro HS 49-32. She is a Freshman at Cass City HS. Scored 17 points in the victory for Head Coach Justin Ketterer. Her parents are proud of Shelby has done all season long. Almost made the GW Shot against the Bad Axe Hatchets in 2OT on January 6th at Cass City HS in a 47-46 lost. Got redemption on February 1st against the Bad Axe Hatchets on the GW Shot 36-34 at Bad Axe HS. Been a nice addition to this team as a Freshman all season long. Justin Ketterer is proud of what Shelby Ignash has done all season long. Reggie bring in stories in his playing days for the EPB Lakers in sports in the Class of 1992 at Laker HS. Take on the Sandusky Redskins in the Division 3 Regional Semifinal Game on Tuesday Night at Reese HS. They lost to them at home on Valentine’s Day Night 34-24 to that opponent. Sandusky has a good Defense out there too. Saylar Cuthrell loves having her on the team as well too. Been a nice combo together all season long. Finish 2nd in the GTCW Division to the Champion Reese Rockets. Lose 2 times to them 43-40 at Reese HS 45-43 at home 2 weeks ago. There going to be in the Regional & hosting that one too.
