DJ Uiagalelei guided the Clemson Tigers Football Team to a opening win over the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets on Labor Day Night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. 41-10 win in the 2022 College Football Opener. 2021 was a disappointing season not to mention at all. Wanted to make a statement for himself & for everyone else in 2022. Lost 20 pounds in the off-season. Had a TD Run & Pass in the win. 209 total yards in that “W”. Defense made a difference in the opener. Held Georgia Tech to 10 points. Special Teams 2 Block Punts in that contest. Setup TD’s on both plays on that Block Punt. Make things interesting & statement for the Coaches & everyone in the program. Went 10-3 overall record in 2021. Wanna be a better team in 2022. Head Coach Dabo Swinney loves to see them compete in practices & games in Death Valley each & everyday. Play with the best of the best on the schedule. Dabo is a good Head Coach in College Football. DJ had a nice True Freshman campaign at QB in both games in 2020. Boston College on Halloween at home in the comeback win. Follow that one up nicely against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on November 7th, 2020 in South Bend, IN. OT lost in ACC Conference Action on Primetime on NBC on Saturday Night Football. Disappointed 2021 campaign as a Redshirt Freshman QB. Started with the Georgia Bulldogs Game in the 2021 College Football Opener in Charlotte, NC. Never comeback from that one. Georgia had a good Defense in 2021. Went on to be National Champions also too. Lose 10-3 in that contest. September 4th, 2021. Labor Day Weekend on ABC on Saturday Night Football……. Still has a good Defense in 2022…… See a whole new DJ Uiagalelei at QB in 2022 in Death Valley……. BEAT GEORGIA TECH ON OFFENSE, DEFENSE, & SPECIAL TEAMS……..
