Head Coach Brian Dutcher has done a remarkable with this squad in his 4 years at the helm. They been on a fun ride indeed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament in the last 3 weeks of the season. Be the 1st Mountain West Conference squad to reach the Final Four & National Championship Game ever in school history. They would’ve got the No. 1 seed in the 2020 NCAA Tournament. It got cancelled because of the COVID-19 started that time being on March 7th, 2020. Kept on going ever since then. Brian took over for Steve Fisher’s position as Head Coach at this place. Steve retired as Head Coach 4 years ago. Both of them worked very well together for the Michigan Wolverines & San Diego State Aztecs. They went to the 1989, 1992, & 1993 Final Four for the Michigan Wolverines. Won it all in 1989. Lost both of them in 1992 & 1993 in the National Championship Game to the Duke Blue Devils & North Carolina Tar Heels respectively from the ACC Conference. Brian knows what he is doing as a Basketball Head Coach. Seeing that one on display now…….
