Alex Lange has been unbelievable as a closer for the 2023 Detroit Tigers Baseball Team. His development has come along nicely. Figure out a lot of things he was doing wrong during that time period. Correct a lot of things on the mound. Pitching Coach Chris Fetter has done a good job with that Ball Club. Manager AJ Hinch had the trust & confidence in Alex’s abilities as a Closer for this roster. Having the privilege to play & wear the Old English D uniform. Figure out the arm slots & other ones. Got the mechanics down. Locate his pitches where he wants it to be at. Got him in the trade from the Chicago Cubs in 2019. Played his College Baseball for the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. Good student of the game & also goes to meetings on time. Credit Manager AJ Hinch & Pitching Coach Chris Fetter on a job well done with Alex Lange in 2023. Pitch with the best of them in SEC Conference. Carry that one to the MLB right away & succeed in that level & position. Impressive stuff indeed.
