Laura Wilson got hired as Volleyball Head Coach for the JV Team for the 2023 North Branch squad. Spend her good days playing for Head Coach Jim Fish. Play on the 2014 Class B State Championship Team. Played her College Volleyball for the Central Michigan Chippewas in Mt. Pleasant. 2015 North Branch HS Graduated. She graduated with Jim’s Son Zach in the Class of 2015. Got fortunate enough to play for the Legendary Head Coach in HS. Teammates & Classmates with Calla McNulty. Calla helping Zach Fish for the Vassar Vulcans Volleyball Team as Assistant Coach. Zach entering her 4th year as Head Coach in Vassar. On the all-TSA team in HS. Came back home & help out the Volleyball program once again now. Bring back the program once again now. Grew up & raise in this community in the past years. Now back in this place once again now. Jim is glad to her back once again now. Nice addition to the JV team as Head Coach. Good Volleyball Mind. Well liked lady in School & away from School. Win with dignity & class.
Madee Miner played with Laura Wilson in HS in 2013 & 2014 for the North Branch Broncos Volleyball Team. Good setter in her 4 years on Varsity. Madee & her cousin Olivia Fike where teammates & classmates in the Class of 2017 at North Branch HS. Jim is bringing back Laura Wilson to the program once again. Be the JV Coach. Madee is a good player & coach as well too. Madee & Laura good idea to do things right for these ladies in North Branch. Amazing Volleyball Tradition in North Branch. Small community. Do very well in a small community. Jim is glad to have both of them once again. From there playing days & now be coaches. Madee been there for her 2nd year at the helm. Had the privilege to play for the Great Jim Fish in HS. Both of them are friendly ladies.
