Sad moment to see, Calli “Townsend” Newberry gone at the age of 24 years old. Got in a super bad car accident on June 5th, 2023 in Croswell. Calli was well liked by everyone else. We want prayers for Calli’s daughter Ellie. She was born this winter. Made it all right in that terrible car accident. Calli got her degree in sports management & journalism at Hillsdale College. Good 3-sport athlete in Cross Country, Track & Field, & 🏀. Ran Cross Country & Track & Field in Hillsdale College. Lisa Shaw, Peggy Regan, Darren Bongard, & Randy Simmons liked Calli “Townsend” Newberry on the team. She was working at Blue Water Living in Port Huron for 2 years. I enjoy talking to Steve & Jodi Townsend wherever I see them at a sporting event. I do like Calli. She won with dignity & class. Enjoy talking to her at the sporting events she goes too.
