Delany St. George scored her 1000 career point for the Kingston Cardinals Girls Basketball Team & Program. Good 3-point shooter, ball handler, defender, & other ones. Played on Varsity for 3 years for Head Coach Jay Green. Class of 2024 at Kingston HS. Good leader on & off the playing court. Team goal is to go to the Breslin Center in East Lansing. Play in the Division 4 Semifinals in March. Focus on the regular season right now. Go from there on out. Playing tough competition outside the NCTL. Lost to the Goodrich Martians by 10 points at Goodrich HS a couple of weeks ago. Had it down to 2 points. Force to foul & they made all 8 free throws. Goodrich beat Kingston 45-35 on the road. Division 2 Semifinal Team in 2023. Put up a good fight against the Frankenmuth Eagles in a scrimmage a few weeks back. Won 1 & Lost 1. Kingston put a better fight against Goodrich then Frankenmuth did. They got Lake Orion on the schedule & their undefeated right now. Division 1 opponent they will face on January 24th, 2024 at Lake Orion HS. Lapeer Lighting on the schedule as well too at Lapeer HS. Another Division 1 opponent. Jay Green is scheduling tough opponents in non-conference action. Help them make a deep run in the Division 4 State Tournament in March. This is the year to make this deep run. Delany & the crew know it. Leader for this unit. Walker Sisters running the show. Good discipline squad. Delany knows she is doing out there as a player. Jay Green is fortunate enough to have her their anyways. Compete with the best of them. Loves to play this sport the most. Good teammates can help her out. Make a special run in Division 4 State Tournament in March. Good work ethic & attitude on the roster. Jay loves having those girls on her team. Stay together as one family. Do what it takes for us to make this thing count. Good core of players in this program. Jay Green is one of the best Girls Basketball Coaches in the Whole Thumb Area. Impressive stuff, I like from Jay Green……. Delany has been on Varsity. Her experience has guide her to success. Taking her game to another level this season. Other ones are guiding her to step up. Saw that one on Wednesday Night against the Cass City Red Hawks at Kingston HS. Got a victory over there Deford rivals in that contest. They known one another in the past years. Played against one another as well too. GTC in Girls Basketball isn’t as good as it was in the past years….. Kingston has the edge over Sandusky……..
