Bryce Kiley is a good Pitcher for Head Coach Nick Bowerman. Good No. 2 pitcher on the roster. Dependable one to have out there anyways. Love to have a “Lefty” on the mound. Did play 1st Base a couple of games this season. Not a typical Catcher at all. He is a better pitcher than he is a catcher on the roster. He is got one year left to play HS Baseball. Throws: Left-Handed & Bats: Right-Handed. Good Baseball Mind. Smart player. Loves to play this sport a lot. Coachable guy to have on the team.
Throw 5 strong innings in the 1st game of the DH against the Brown City Green Devils 3 weeks ago on a cold windy night in Brown City. Beautiful Baseball & Softball Complex in BC. Got a 11-0 win in the 1st game. Nick could’ve pitch him in the 2nd game. He had 33 pitches to go yet still. Peyton Bowerman is a good No. 3 pitcher on the team. Good contact pitcher. Good 2 to 3 inning guy on the team. Better OF than he is a Pitcher.
Nick has some good name players on the team. Lose 4 starters off the roster to graduation. SS, 1st Base, RF, & LF have graduated already now at Sandusky HS in the Class of 2025. Bryce Kiley could take 1st Base over in 2026. While he is not pitching on the team. Got 3rd Base, 2nd Base, CF’s, Catchers, & Pitchers coming back for the 2026 campaign. Strong JV squad this past year. Won 22 games in 2025 on JV.
I like Blake Bowerman as a Catcher. I talk to the Capac Chiefs Baseball Team Assistant Coach about Blake Bowerman. He was impressed with him behind plate. Threw out a couple of runners against Capac at home a month ago in Sandusky. He is a Freshman right now at Sandusky HS for 9 more days to go. 3 good years to come yet still. Did a good job catching against BC with Bryce Kiley at the helm. Got a 11-0 win in the 1st game in 5 innings of work.
Finish 2nd in the Big Thumb Conference Black Division Action to the Ubly Bearcats. They split with Ubly & BC on the road that week. BC is a dangerous team. Bryce can hit the Baseball pretty well. Lose Tyler Bush off the roster. Nathan Ball too. Both of them are having a good season for Head Coach Nick Bowerman. 2 key losses off the roster.
I will be in Sandusky on Friday in the Division 3 Districts at Albrecht Field Softball & Baseball Complex….. Watch Bryce Kiley on the mound…..
