Beat the Arizona Wildcats 90-73 on April 4th the day before Easter Sunday in Indy.
Trey McKenney came thru in the clutch moments in the 2026 National Championship Game against the UConn Huskies late in the contest. Big 3-pointer for the Maize & Blue. True Freshman for this unit. Head Coach Dusty May has high praises about Trey. Kept him in-state. Went to Orchard Lake St. Mary’s HS. Guided the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Eaglets to win the 2024 Division 1 State Championship Title in Boys Basketball. Beat North Farmington at the Breslin Center in East Lansing at Michigan State University. 2025 McDonald’s High All-American. He is a pure shooter. Keep your eyes open on Trey McKenney this coming season for the Maize & Blue.

Took 2 schools to the Final Four appearance during his College Basketball Head Coaching career. Took them to their 1st ever Final Four in School History for the Florida Atlantic Owls. Lose to the San Diego State Aztecs at the buzzer in the 2023 Final Four game at NRG Stadium in Houston. Took the 2026 Michigan Wolverines Basketball Team to the Final Four appearance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Win their 2nd ever National Championship Title in School History on April 6th. School record 37 wins in the 2025-26 campaign.
Learned a lot of stuff from Legendary Head Coach Bobby Knight for the Indiana Hoosiers Basketball Team. While he was a Student Manager 1995-00 in Bloomington. Dusty is from Indiana. Very good HS Basketball in Hoosier State Nation. Learn other Head Coaches at different places while he was an Assistant Coach too. Carry that one on to the Head Coaching ranks at FAU & Michigan. The players love playing for Head Coach Dusty May anyways. He is a program builder. Very good Basketball knowledges. Right guy for this position he is in now. Smart guy overall…..
