Dave Brown has built the Imlay City Spartans Football program around. 4-straight losing seasons to start his HC career. In 2026 things started going in a new direction. Dave has a good coaching staff on task. Knows what he is doing out there anyways. Good Football Mindset. The players love playing for Dave. Seeing results on the playing field. Having a good idea & mindset of that stuff. Play winning Football in IC. They are 5-1 right now. Only lost was to the Almont Raiders at home 37-20. M-53 rivals in BWAC action. Jim Watkins had his good days at IC in the past years. Took them to the 1993 Class B State Championship Game with RB Rick Granata & company. Learned stuff from Bud Rowley for the Oxford Wildcats Football Team in the past years.
2022: 1-8
2023: 2-7
2024: 3-6
2025: 3-6
2026: 5-1 & counting.
Beat the Flint Powers Catholic Chargers 2 years in a row. North Branch Broncos, Cros-Lex Pioneers, Richmond Blue Devils, & Armada Tigers on the schedule. Focus on the Yale Bulldogs matchup this Friday Night at home. Dave is a good Football HC. Been a fun ride in 2026. Job ain’t done yet. More work to do. Stay with the course. Play Imlay City Spartans & Dave Brown Football for the rest of the year. Not satisfied ever.
GO 2026 IMLAY CITY SPARTANS FOOTBALL HEAD COACH DAVE BROWN…….
