Gavin Hart is a good leader for the Goodrich Martians Boys Basketball Team in the Class of 2023. Captain for Head Coach Gary Barns this season on Varsity. Guide them to a Division 2 District & Regional Championship Title in 2023. Saw them get a 56-39 win over the Cros-Lex Pioneers in the Division 2 Regional Champioinship Game on March 15th at Imlay City HS. Solid in that contest. Good leader on & off the court. Set a good example for the young players in the program. Impressive stuff I saw in that contest. Senior Leadership is important in HS sports. See that one in this one. Just compete & lead by a good example for everyone else in the Goodrich Community. They love there sports in Goodrich. Special season to talk about. Football, Tennis, Girls Basketball, & Wrestling Teams go a long ways away in the postseason. They lost to the Ferndale Eagles in the Division 2 Quarterfinal Game last week at Lake Orion HS by 6 points in this contest. Ferndale went on to be Division 2 State Champions on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. Lose to the State Champions in any sport in the regular or postseason is a good season overall. Lost to the Division 3 State Champions Flint Beecher Buccaneers in the regular season in a close game…… Gavin is got his next journey coming up in 2 months. Graduate at Goodrich HS in the Class of 2023. Bring memories in the upcoming years ahead of time now. College is next on his list.
