Trey Lester came on strong for the Marlette Red Raiders Baseball Team at the right time of the season. Solid on the mound in the Division 4 District Championship Game against the Kingston Cardinals. Went the distance for 6 innings. Get a 17-5 win on May 31st at Marlette HS. Be Division 4 District Champions. Catcher also too. Lefty on the roster. Good hitter as well too. Almost hit a HR to RF in the District Championship Game. Sophomore this past year at Marlette HS. Going to be a Junior this coming fall. Upset the Ubly Bearcats in the Regional Championship Game on Saturday in Plymouth 3-2. 2nd Regional Championship Title in School History. Bright individual guy on the team. Good competitor & student of the game. Go to school & class on time. Learn new stuff in school. Take it over the sporting events you participate in. Focus on one thing at a time. Go from there on out. Take one day at a time. He remembers the 2021 squad went to the Division 4 Semifinals while he was in 7th grade in Marlette. Lose to the Kalamazoo Hackett at MSU in East Lansing. His cousin Travis Fuller was on that squad as a Junior in HS. Graduated in the Class of 2022 at Marlette HS. Michigan Wolverines Sports Fan. Saw them beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 110th Rose Bowl Game on New Years Day in Pasadena, CA. Get a 27-20 OT win. Follow that one up on January 8th, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. Beat the Washington Huskies 34-13. Finish the season at 15-0 on the 2023-24 campaign. Wild celebration went on in Downtown Ann Arbor overnight. Parade went on January 13th, 2024 in Downtown Ann Arbor. Celebration Speech after the parade was over came to the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. Talk about the special season for the Maize & Blue. Plays for his Father Denny Lester in Football, Tristan Pennington in Basketball, & Dave Hayden in Baseball. Congratulations on collecting 2 Baseball Trophies back home to Marlette HS in 2024……
