Detroit Tigers sweep the series over the New York Yankees over the Memorial Day Weekend in Detroit. Starting Pitching from Casey Mize, Spencer Turnbull, & Tarik Skubal where solid in that 3-game series. Held them to 5 runs all together in that 3 day series. Scoring 15 runs against a good team like that one too. Held that good hitting lineup in check. Bullpen is getting better each time down now. Hitting Department needs work during the course of the season now. Chris Fetter has done a good job with the Pitching Staff for 1st Year Manager AJ Hinch. So nice to sweep the New York Yankees at home. Send the Fans back home happy. Robbie Grossman has been getting better as a Switch Hitter for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team. Walk-Off 2-Run Homer on a Cold Friday Night in the Bottom of the 10th Inning with 2 outs on a 3-2 count. Send them home happy. 22-30 on the season now. Being a competitive team now in Detroit. AJ Hinch has done a good job with this team in 2021. Good hire by GM Al Avila made on October 30th, 2020 at Comerica Park in Detroit. Players love playing for this good Manager we got now. Staying ahead of schedule & getting better each day & week. Going at it 110% at Practices & Games. Trusting the process as well too. Took over for Ron Gardenhire. Ron did a great job with the Rebuilding Department Process in the last 3 years for this Ball Club. Good young talent we got now. Future is bright for this Team. We will get good MLB Draft Picks once again in 2021. AJ is good with the Young Players. Seeing that one nicely now. Going in the right way in Detroit.
