Aaron Fernald had his Cass City Red Hawks Boys Basketball Team ready to go in the Division 3 District Semifinal Game against the USA Patriots at USA HS on March 11th, 2020. They where the 4-time Defending District Champions. Also ended the home game streak in this one too for the USA Patriots Boys Basketball Team. Remember that night covering that contest. USA was the better team heading into that one. Cass City played with a lot of heart & desire to getting the job done on there home floor. USA beat Cass City very easily twice in the regular season. Aaron Fernald & the players did a good job preparing in practices & trending that one to the game. Upset City indeed. Cass City has good athletes on this squad. It showed up in this contest. Sandyn Cuthrell, Hadyn Horne, Collen Wrubel, Kendall Anthes, Kenton Wiseman, & other guys on the team will remember that one for a long time now. Aaron has beaten Mark Gainforth quite of few times before. Aaron knows what he is doing out there as a Basketball Head Coach. They will remember that one for a long time now & coming. Superintendent Jeff Hartel & Athletic Director Lindsay (Maharg) Bitzer are so proud of those Cass City Red Hawks Players what they did in that game in the Division 3 District Semifinal Game in Boys Basketball Action against the USA Patriots on there home court at USA HS on March 11th, 2020. Been a great season indeed.
