Joe Jacobs has done a good job as Head Coach of the 2021 Frankenmuth Eagles Girls Basketball Team. Got hired in the Summer of 2020. He has replaced Tom Keller very nicely indeed. Knows his Basketball very well. Coached the Boys Basketball at Frankenmuth, Clio, & Flushing. Now he is the Girls Basketball Coach right now at Frankenmuth. 1996 Frankenmuth HS Graduated. Art Pelzer & Jim Petteys where also Boys & Girls Basketball Head Coaches at Frankenmuth also too in the past years. Played all zone which is the 2-3 variety they do out there anyways. Whiting Wilson played the 2-3 zone as well too as Boys Basketball Coach at Frankenmuth in the past years. Game of Basketball will always be the same no matter what people say about that one. Game of Basketball in the Boys of Girls is the same thing like always period. Michael Jordan Fan in his days in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls. He was a excellent competitor each & every time down. He was sick in Game 4 of the NBA Finals in 1997 against the Utah Jazz on the road in Salt Lake City. He was amazing in that game when he was sick & carried them to a victory on the road for Head Coach Phil Jackson. Won the NBA Title that season too. Not a LeBron James Fan & he can’t stand him at all & so doesn’t a lot of them too. Players love playing for Joe Jacobs already now. Got new Assistant Coaches at Frankenmuth this season. Players love the Assistant Coaches they got now. Undefeated right now & Ranked No. 2 in the State of Michigan in Division 2 in Girls Basketball for the Frankenmuth Eagles. Nice core of them now on the squad. They are buying into this system now at Frankenmuth. Seeing much better results now. Saw them score 63 points in the victory at home on Friday Night against the Freeland Falcons. Gotta play a tough schedule no matter what. Seen them compete with the best of them already now. Beat Bay City John Glenn on the road last week. Got them next week at home. Big Home Game Indeed. John Blankenship was a big fan of Joe Jacobs in his playing days at QB for the Frankenmuth Eagles Football Team in 1995. Went 11-1 overall record. Lose to the Class B State Champions Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets at SVSU in the Semifinals that season. Joe knows his Football & Basketball very well. Loves to compete with best of them as a Player & Coach. True Competitor at both sports. Good student of the game & also in the classroom in the past years. Well liked by his classmates & other ones away from Frankenmuth. Keep up the good work & everything will come in the right way for you in near future for more years to come. Good mindset & ideas how to get those things right at all times. Been a crazy world we live in now with the COVID-19 Pandemic that is going on now still. Joe is doing very well with that one too. Go at it 110% at practices & games. Good squad going into 2021-22 campaign at Frankenmuth next season.
