2021 Cros-Lex Pioneers Boys Basketball Team had a remarkable season overall. Back 2 Back BWAC Conference Champions. They would’ve 3-peat as District Champions. Back 2 Back Regional Champions. Had a remarkable Division 2 Quarterfinal Game on Tuesday Night at Eastpointe against the Ferndale Shamrocks & lost the game 73-68 in 2OT. Led by the Duo of Hunter Soper & Tyler Johnson in the last 3 years for Head Coach Lance Campbell. Both of them played 4 years on Varsity Basketball for the Cros-Lex Pioneers. Varsity Ready since there Freshman Year in High School. Enjoy watching them play in the last 3 years on Varsity. Nolan Durand is a good role player off the bench. Joey Noll is a good role player also too. Steven Soule is a good supporter & showing off his spirit on the bench. Doesn’t play a lot at all. Nice core of them anyways. Carson Bowling has a been good role player as well too. Jake Townsend & Saige Slanec have been nice players as Sophomores & Juniors on the team. Trey Kolakovich has been a nice player as well too as a Freshman & Sophomore on Varsity. Matt MacDonald will play more next season as a Junior. Peyton Edwards will play a lot too. Good JV squad this past year. Program all together is in good shape now at Cros-Lex. Future is bright once again for more good years to come at C-L. Good people coming back off the team next season too. Great season overall. Will remember that one for a long time coming too.
